Overwhelmed and can't decide how to get it all done?
We can get overwhelmed by tasks, choices, or the complexity of a situation relative to our capacity in the moment. The Next Right Thing is a simple practice to get focused and productive when it’s challenging to do so. The following slides explain how it goes. And although the technique may seem extremely simple, it combines some advanced concepts including: creating a neurophysiologically coherent body state with self-inquiry, and thereby the conditions for deep thinking and intuition to occur. And it does so quite quickly.

- Refer to the Quick-Brian-Body Reset blog post for more information about why its ideal to be in a physiologically coherent state,
- if you're finding it challenging to connect with your heart, try just focusing on your breath for a while, which will give you some of the benefits, and then focus on your heart when that feels more possible,
- if its uncomfortable to use the word "right" , remember that it is the next "right" thing FOR YOU, or drop the word "right" completely if that helps.
